Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Cullen Meyer moved to New York at age 18 to attend New York University. After earning a two-year General Studies Degree, he transferred to Parsons School of Design, where he earned a BFA in design and was nominated for Fashion Designer of the Year. Pieces from Mr. Meyer’s senior thesis collection were featured in the window of Saks Fifth Avenue and in a half page, full-color spread in Women’s Wear Daily.
After graduation, Cullen worked as Vintage Fashion Editor for Stylesight, a New York based fashion forecasting company. Being the first Vintage Editor at Stylesight, Cullen started from scratch and was totally responsible for creating the look, content and presentation of the vintage offering. His work was noticed by WGSN, a London, England based fashion forecasting company, where he currently holds the position of Vintage Editor of fashion and interiors. After working in the fashion industry for four years, Cullen decided it was time to pursue his own collection and launch his namesake brand.
Cullen is a published author and renowned collector of vintage menswear and antiques. He continues to work as a historic consultant and stylist for photo shoots. His mid-century-antique-filled apartment was featured in a full page, full-color New York Times story and has been used as a backdrop for fashion editorials.
